His father, Kisanrao Shankarrao Landge, is a nationally recognized wrestler who has devoted himself to mentoring young athletes at Bhavani Talim, Bhosari, helping numerous wrestlers achieve success at the state level. His family has long been associated with public service, sports, agriculture, industry, and workers' welfare, reflecting a tradition of leadership and commitment to society.

Mahesh Dada Landge served three consecutive terms as Corporator, building a strong foundation in grassroots governance, civic development and citizen engagement.
Elected to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly after a historic victory from Bhosari Constituency, beginning a new phase of constituency-wide development.
Re-elected with a strong mandate and accelerated development projects across infrastructure, employment and public welfare.
Led party organization and public outreach efforts while strengthening citizen participation and community engagement.

Mahesh Landge completed his schooling at H.A. School, Pimpri and later pursued higher education at Sanghvi Kesari School.
During his student years he actively participated in Kabaddi and Wrestling competitions and developed strong leadership qualities.
He served as President of NSUI Pimpri-Chinchwad and successfully worked for various student welfare initiatives and educational issues.
His background in sports, social work and youth leadership eventually led him toward active public service and politics.
